Ewan The Dream Sheep - what can I say this is a newborn MUST HAVE.  Ewan was bought for my baby by my mum as we had heard so many fantastic reviews about it from my friends but I don't think I really appreciated the product until my baby was born.  We have used Ewan from day 1 and he is a little furry superstar.

He soothes and relaxes bubba with the four different natural sound recordings which can be activated by gently squeezing the top of Ewans legs.  The four completetly natural recordings to help calm even the most unsettled babies even those with colic induced pain, the real sounds are a vacuum cleaner, rain, a harp recording and the sound of the womb.  Otherwise known as low frequency base 125Hz 'pink noise'  as these sounds are predominantly heard whilst baby is in the womb which is why they are so successful to help relax baby.

Each sound is on a 20 min timer allowing enough time for baby to fall asleep without having to be restart every 5 mins and disturbing them and the sounds can be changed at any time by simply pressing the button on another one of Ewans legs.

I know many babies including my own can be a little sensitive to the dark whilst they are trying to fall asleep so a low light nightlight always helps.  Well Ewan also has a soft glowing chest whilst the recordings are playing.  Not only does this add a gentle background glow to the moses basket or cot it's pink/red glow resemmbles the natural lighting inside the womb.  I think this is an adorable idea as when babies are first born they will have so many things to adjust to so it is lovely that they will have something that they can recognise and help keep them content.

Once you purchase Ewan and you MUST he will become a member of the family.  Ewan has to travel everywhere not just for baby but for the parents it is like making sure you have the dummies packed.  Ewan has a velcro tail so he can be securely fastened to the side of the cot, pushchair and moses basket to make sure he is safe distance from baby and so he doesn't get lost.  (please refer to safety instructions below and never place close or over baby's head).

For older babies Ewan is so soft and snuggly he is also the perfect cuddly toy.  He will become a little friend.
